Photonics and optoelectronics renewable energy technologies sensing devices

I am Mohammed Obidallah Alotaibi, joining the KAUST Photonics Lab. I hold an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a B.S. from Umm Al-Qura University. Previously, I served as an Instrument Engineer at Aramco and currently lecture at Taibah University. I am passionate about advancing photonic technologies in energy and sustainability applications, and I look forward to contributing to the lab’s research in optoelectronics and integrated photonic systems. Previous Work Experience: Instrument Engineer, Saudi Aramco (2010–2012) Teaching Assistant & Lecturer

flexible photonic energy sensing devices

Flexible electronics is an emerging and widely explored area. Most research groups in the area focus on fabrication processes to provide mechanical flexibility and their use in bendable and stretchable applications. Also, most semiconductors employed in flexible electronics are non-single-crystalline thin films which compromise the performance of the flexible devices.
